Software Profile

VCCD series micro/Vickers hardness indentation measurement system is a complete set of full-automatic control and measurement system including control of pressing, setting of pressing paths, automatic scanning, automatic focusing and automatic measurement of HV(HK) indentation. The system includes control and measurement software, high pixel digital camera, camera adapter, an electric X-Y sample table, and control box. The system can be simplified as VCCD-1, VCCD-2, and VCCD-3 according to user requirements.

System Features

• The hardness tester is controlled and operated on the computer to measure.
• The indentation is clearly displayed on the computer screen by using a high-pixel digital camera.
• Through the measurement of indentation by software, the hardness value is calculated automatically.
• The measured Vickers hardness value can be converted into other hardness values such as BrinellHB, Rockwell HRA, HRB, HRC, etc.
• Hardness can be calibrated and corrected.
• The test report can be automatically generated, and the data file takes the form of table and curve.

Image files and data files can be previewed, stored and printed respectively.

• The hardness and hardening depth of the carburized layer specimen are measured by gradient method, and then the gradient curve is generated.
• Single point measurement and continuous measurement can be selected.

System Requirements

Computer System: It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7(32-bit operating system).  Due to the requirements of image processing and calculation, the computer must have a configuration of 1GHz CPU and 512MB RAM or above. It must have at least three USB2.0 interfaces for cameras, control lines, and software dongles.

Installation Software: If you need Word or Excel document reports, you need to install Microsoft Office 2003 or above.
